Privacy Policy
Rep Metrics is a workout tracking app. This policy explains what information the app uses and who can see it. The short version: your training data stays on your device, there are no accounts, and there is no advertising or analytics.
Information you enter
You enter workouts (lifts, weights, reps, dates), body weight, and body measurements for the body fat calculator. The app stores this on your device. We do not receive it, and we cannot see it. If you delete the app, this data is removed with it unless you saved a backup somewhere yourself.
Information we collect
We do not collect your name, email address, location, contacts, photos, or health data. Rep Metrics does not use advertising identifiers, analytics, or third-party tracking, and it does not sell or share personal information.
Purchases
The app is free for a 7-day trial, after which a one-time purchase unlocks it. Apple processes the payment, and we never see your payment details. To confirm whether you have unlocked the app, we use RevenueCat, a purchase management service. RevenueCat receives your purchase receipt and an anonymous app user ID. It does not receive your workouts or measurements. RevenueCat's handling of that information is described in its own privacy policy at revenuecat.com/privacy.
Trial date
To track the 7-day trial, the app stores the date you first opened it in your device's Keychain. This record can remain on your device after you delete the app, so reinstalling does not restart the trial. It contains only a date.
Importing, exporting, and sharing
When you paste a note into the app, the text is read on your device. If you back up or share your data using the iOS share sheet, it goes only to the place you choose, such as Notes, Files, or a message. Once you send it there, that service's policies apply.
Body fat and health estimates
The body fat calculator uses the U.S. Navy formula and produces an estimate. It is not medical advice or a diagnosis. Talk to a qualified professional about your health and training.
Children
Rep Metrics is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Your choices
Because your data lives on your device, you control it. You can edit or delete any entry in the app, create or restore a backup, or delete the app to remove its data.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we will update the date above and post the new version on this page.
